I have been trying to put into words my reaction to the last night of the NQC but am stumbling terribly. It has been like trying to find the words to describe the most beautiful sunset to someone who did not see it. It simply cannot be explained.
I have a mental list of words and phrases but when I try to put them all together they just do not seem to fit. Something is missing....and I have realized that the missing piece of the explanation was the "spirit of the place" and "the Spirit in the place". If you do not understand the effect of the Holy Spirit in that place then the words are just words.
The artists were amazing and so very genuine. It was exciting to see the young people who are stepping up and choosing to sing gospel music.
I am so grateful to have had this experience.
Now on to today.
We traveled from Louisville, KY to Gadsden, Alabama and the Magnolias sang in two churches. Boy this has been a packed day. I think I will just post pictures to finish todays blog. Tomorrow they will do a Garden Gathering in Glencoe, Alabama and then we head to Nashville!
