Day 4

Another Garden Gathering today but at least we did not have miles and miles to go this morning so we got to sleep in...we did not leave until 7:30!

The Magnolias set up their garden at Arcade Baptist Church in Louisville, KY this morning.  The ladies do not just stand there looking pretty as they sing.  They have a big job of unloading and setting up equipment then afterwards breaking their equipment down and loading up.  They shared their message in song and in their discussion about the "garden" that makes up our life.

After we left the church, we passed by Churchill  Downs.  We were like a bunch of kids begging to stop so we could take a look.  After lunch our "fearless leader" Debbie agreed that we could squeeze in a stop at Churchill Down and take the tour. Finally a museum!  Our very own Magnolias Margo and Phyllis found a magnolia to pose by.


After a quick trip back to our room we headed to the National Quartet Convention.  The 6 hour concert was loaded with great gospel singing.  They  sang I'm Still Amazed, one of the songs that the Magnolias sing.  Linda and Margo who were sitting in front of us were "doing their moves" to the song.  We looked over where the others were too. They looked like they were a part of the show!!  Their hands were going everywhere!  It was so much fun...

 The days are going to be long and the nights late but we are going to be blessed beyond our wildest imagination.  I can't wait!
