| Booth Brothers |
As soon as the Booth Brothers finished Ron went to quickly get the bus to bring it to the unloading area so the Magnolias could get their equipment. I think they set a world record on unloading. By the time Ron got back to the food court they were set up and ready to go. They did their usual wonderful job and their audience were smiling and clapping. They had scheduled a 30 - 45 minute show but you know what happens when those ladies get wound up. They sang and danced (creative movement) for over an hour. They were exhausted but so encouraged and excited by the peoples reaction. Ron ran to get the bus, they loaded up and changed, and we were off for more music. Did I mention that the ladies did not have their fans.....well they did not have their fans and those of you who have seen them can imagine the heat they generated! In the pictures below look at the picture of the workers watching the Magnolias! I hope they did not get in trouble for slacking off!

For the rest of the afternoon we had the opportunity to see more groups. One of my favorites was The Hoppers singing Jerusalem. Now that was some good stuff!! We spent time in the exhibit hall before we headed to the night concert. As we walked through the exhibit hall we were able to see and visit with some of the groups.
Tonight's concert featured only quartets. We heard some beautiful four part harmony. I can imagine how much my daddy and my Uncle Howard would have loved this. The experience of being there is going to be one of those long time memories.
But the day ended and we were ready to load onto the bus and rest up for the next day.
