Day 3

When we left Jackson, Tennessee this morning we ran through a little rain.  That big white bus did not know what that stuff was!!  I hope we got some in the central Texas area.
Darlene even washed our windows.  Now if full service gas stations were still around she could get a job washing car windows!

We pulled into Nashville, Tennessee and arrived at Eastland Baptist Church where we were greeted by their pastor.  He gave us a tour of their majestic 106 year old church.  That was a treat by itself.  Our Magnolias presented their joy through singing to the pastors and others from of the area.  It is not often that a pastor gets to sit back and be ministered too.  It was rewarding for us to be able to talk to them and to be able to encourage them as they encouraged us.

Brother Joe

Ron and I had a opportunity to visit with Brother Joe who has just begun his ministry there in an inner city church.  Pray with us that God will use him to do great things for the people and especially the youth of Nashville.

Magnolias in action
After a scrumptious lunch we piled into the bus and headed north to Louisville.  With not a minute to spare we arrived at St. Paul Baptist Church at Shively Heights.  The pastor was waiting literally with open arms for us at the front door.  We received such a warm welcome that we felt right at home.  The congregation really "got into the music" and our Magnolias were beaming!

We enjoyed a time of fellowship before heading  to our rooms.

We look forward to a good rest before we start up again tomorrow.

God Bless!
